I love everything about The Ruin! The drinks, the staff, the art, the location, and the atmosphere! It's my go-to bar downtown.

Honestly one of the best experiences downtown lately. We were taking my niece out for a fun day and stumbled upon this gem. So clean, very modern and comfortable. We loved the interior and felt comfortable enough to stay for a while. Ari was our bartender and she was fantastic. Super friendly and made us some outstanding drinks. We tried a few house cocktails. The weeeezy street is A+, but she made us a few custom cocktails that were probably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfect for a night out with friends. Try their meat and cheese board. Great way to offset the cocktails.

I’ve never had such a bad experience trying to get drinks at a bar. Bartenders are actually incompetent and don’t know how to make drinks properly. Over 75% of the drinks I ordered were made incorrectly (or just the wrong drink) and had to be sent back. Be sure to watch the bartenders. They also were skimping on the alcohol pours even though they had the metering things. Very sketchy. I had to walk the bartenders through how to make their own house drinks because they kept messing up. If you ask for nicer liquor in your drink make sure you WATCH THEM because they tried to put well liquor in a few of the drinks I ordered multiple times and I caught them doing this. The music they play is also terrible. I will not be returning here.

Love love love this place .. we were so impressed with the service we received from Grant.. The atmosphere is perfect and the music is not too loud so we can still have a conversation. Hands down the best old fashioned in the city !

I absolutely loved this place. We came in around 12 with hardly anyone in. The place looks very nice and relaxing. The head bartender was so into his work and very expressive about the drinks he made. We hit various spots around town while we’ve been here but this hands down was the best spot weve been to for cocktails. The menu is limited but even for classic cocktails they do things the right way here. We tried the bluebell on the menu. And 3 other classics. Ny sour, mojito, margarita. All were made exactly to our liking! Located right on Main Street. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great tasting cocktails

Absolutely will return again. Jay was fantastic with us, drinks were good, atmosphere was perfect for what we needed last night. Wish I had the playlist they were using too.

Very cute new bar on Main! Drinks are fantastic & food options are on point. Very reasonably priced especially for the high quality of both. Strongly recommend the BAMH cocktail and grilled broccoli. Tons of gluten free and low carb options (including gf options on tap)! Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with a genuine quality that is hard to find. Dogs allowed outside & the vibe is great - still catching live music and frequent foot traffic but less crowded and hectic than a block south.

Awesome place, upbeat but still casual. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced, and the bartenders were friendly and personable. Definitely get an Old Fashioned there!
